Kona's First Back Bay Hike

Kona loved her hike on the Back Bay trails today.  Seventy-five percent of the time she kept her nose to the ground...very beagle-like.  The rest of the time she kept checking up on me, making sure I was within chasing distance...very labrador-like. :-)  She ran willy-nilly, like a kid in a candy store, not sure what her favorite smell was and not wanting to miss a thing. 
I felt Keegan with us as we walked on his favorite trail on what would have been for him the perfect autumn day.
